Our notes on each patch
What we like about each one, plus one thing worth knowing before you buy.

Feel1 PDRN Eyepatch
What we like: Salmon PDRN, collagen, peptides, caffeine and niacinamide in one cooling hydrogel patch — a monthly jar for a 20-minute habit.
Good to know: Sold direct from the brand's own shop rather than at big beauty retailers; multi-jar bundles lower the per-jar cost.

- Salmon PDRN (sodium DNA)
- Format
- Hydrogel jar · 60 patches (30 pairs)

- $$$Mid-range

REJURAN Healer Renew Eye Patch
What we like: From the company behind the well-known Rejuran clinic line, using its own proprietary c-PDRN — the most established name in PDRN.
Good to know: Mostly sold through import retailers rather than an official Western store, so availability varies.
- PDRN
- The brand's own c-PDRN polynucleotide
- Format
- Hydrogel jar · 60 patches

DERMALINE Bio Activing PDRN Eye Patch
What we like: A professional-line Korean brand that is unusually open about its salmon PDRN content, paired with peptides in a focused patch.
Good to know: Aimed mainly at the professional channel, so it is harder to find on mainstream marketplaces and sits in a higher tier.

- Salmon DNA PDRN

- Hydrogel jar · 60 patches

medicube PDRN Pink Caffeine Collagen Eye Patch
What we like: One of the most talked-about PDRN patches on social media, with a very broad formula: PDRN, caffeine, several collagen types, peptides and hyaluronic acid. Easy to find at Ulta and Amazon.
Good to know: Also contains retinol, which sensitive under-eyes may prefer to introduce slowly. High demand has meant occasional restock waits.
- PDRN
- Salmon-derived PDRN
- Format
- Hydrogel jar · 60 patches
- Price
- $$$Mid-range

COSRX 5 PDRN Collagen Vitalizing Hydrogel Eye Patch
What we like: Blends five PDRN sources with low-molecular collagen in an orange-tinted gel, from a trusted, widely stocked K-beauty brand.
Good to know: Built mainly for a brighter-looking eye area; de-puffing is secondary. The complex mixes several PDRN sources (reported as salmon plus plant) rather than salmon alone.

- Hydrogel jar · 60 patches

VT Cosmetics PDRN Hydrogel Eye Patch
What we like: Ginseng-derived PDRN from the brand behind the viral PDRN Reedle Shot line — a natural pick if you want PDRN without a fish-derived ingredient.

Centellian24 360º Shot PDRN Glowing Eye Patch
What we like: Individually sealed, essence-rich pairs from a Korean pharmaceutical group's skincare line — handy for travel or pre-event prep.
Good to know: Different format: six sachet pairs rather than a 60-patch jar, so the cost per use is higher. Contains retinol.

- Format
- Sachet pairs · 12 patches (different format)

Anua PDRN Collagen Melting Patch
What we like: A novel melting film that dissolves into the skin without residue — widely featured in beauty press and a genuinely different way to use PDRN.

Abib PDRN Retinal Eye Patch Glow Jelly
What we like: A double-sided, embossed jelly that grips well and stays put, plenty of supporting ingredients and a friendly price tier.

How to pick a PDRN eye patch
Honestly, most PDRN patches feel similar once they are on: cool, wet, a little slippery. The differences are in the formula and the format, so that is where to look.
Salmon or plant PDRN?
Salmon PDRN (listed as sodium DNA) is the classic version and the one most research is based on. Plant PDRN, often from ginseng, is the fish-free option. If you are vegan or have a fish allergy, go plant. Otherwise salmon is the safe default. More in our salmon DNA guide.
Look at what else is in it
The partner ingredients decide what you notice first. Caffeine is the one for puffy mornings. Niacinamide helps a brighter-looking under-eye. Collagen and hyaluronic acid are the hydrators. Retinol or retinal target texture but can sting on sensitive under-eyes, so start slowly with those. Puffiness or shadows? See dark circles and puffiness.
Jar, sachet or melting film
A jar of 60 hydrogel patches is the most practical for regular use and the cheapest per session. Sachets are nice for travel. Melting films are a different thing entirely: small, targeted and not really a daily de-puffing step.
Think in cost per use
A jar of 60 used four times a week lasts roughly seven weeks. Bundles often matter more than the sticker price.
What PDRN actually is
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a purified mix of DNA fragments, mostly from salmon or trout. It became famous through in-clinic "skin booster" injections in Korea before it showed up in creams and patches. The strongest research is on injections; studies on skincare you put on the surface are newer and smaller. A 2026 split-face study found a PDRN eye cream did better than a retinol cream on under-eye measurements over 28 days, but it was a cream, not a patch, and the authors had industry ties. So we describe patches for what they reliably do: hydrate, cool and help under-eyes look smoother and less puffy. Full explainer: What is PDRN?
How to use them
- Start on clean, dry skin.
- Lift a patch with the tweezers, not your fingers.
- Place it under the eye, wide end outwards, away from the lash line.
- Leave it 15 to 20 minutes. Longer does not help; the gel starts drying out.
- Peel off and pat the leftover essence in. Eye cream after, SPF in the morning.
Three to seven times a week works for most gentle formulas. More detail: how to use PDRN eye patches.
Questions people ask
What is PDRN in eye patches?
PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide, a purified mixture of DNA fragments. In skincare it usually comes from salmon and appears on labels as sodium DNA; some brands use plant-derived versions instead. In an eye patch, PDRN sits in a water-rich hydrogel alongside hydrators and partners such as caffeine, collagen or niacinamide, so the patch can hydrate and cool the under-eye area while you wear it.
Do PDRN eye patches actually work?
For cosmetic goals, yes: a well-made hydrogel patch hydrates, cools and visibly de-puffs, and many people see smoother-looking, brighter-looking under-eyes right after a session. Keep expectations realistic, though. Most strong PDRN research looks at in-clinic injections, while evidence for topical PDRN is early. Think of patches as a pleasant, consistent hydration ritual rather than a replacement for professional procedures.
Are PDRN eye patches worth it?
They are worth it if you enjoy a quick routine and want your under-eyes to look fresher and more hydrated, especially on puffy mornings. A 60-patch jar used a few times a week lasts about a month or longer, which keeps the cost per use modest. They are less worth it if you expect structural changes; for that, talk to a qualified professional.
What is the difference between salmon PDRN and plant PDRN?
Salmon PDRN is the traditional source and the one used in most published research. Plant PDRN, often from ginseng or other botanicals, is a newer, fish-free alternative that suits vegan shoppers. Both are DNA-derived fragments, but they are different raw materials, so results from salmon studies should not be assumed to carry over automatically.
How long do you leave PDRN eye patches on?
Most brands recommend about 15 to 20 minutes. That is long enough for the hydrogel to release its essence and cool the skin, but short enough that the patch does not start drying out and pulling moisture back. Remove the patches, then gently pat the remaining essence into the skin instead of rinsing it off.
Can you use PDRN eye patches every day?
Many hydrogel PDRN patches are gentle enough for daily use, and Feel1 suggests three to seven sessions a week. If your formula contains retinol or retinal, start with two or three evenings a week and build up. Stop and simplify your routine if you notice stinging, redness or dryness.
Are PDRN eye patches safe for sensitive skin?
Most people tolerate hydrogel patches well, but the under-eye area is thin and reactive. Check the partner ingredients: retinol, retinal and fragrance are the most common reasons for irritation. Patch-test on your inner arm or jawline first, keep patches away from the lash line, and avoid use on broken or irritated skin.
Are PDRN eye patches vegan or safe with a fish allergy?
Salmon PDRN comes from fish, so it is neither vegan nor ideal for anyone with a fish allergy. If that matters to you, look for a plant-based PDRN patch and read the full ingredient list, since collagen in patches is often marine- or animal-derived too. With a known allergy, ask your doctor or pharmacist before trying a new product.
